He was detained at the airport, a conversation was found on his phone, but the defense claims that the phone was planted, as was the Ukrainian flag later

The 2nd Western District Military Court sentenced 26-year-old Muscovite Gleb Troitsky to 10 years in prison for "attempted treason" and "participation in a terrorist organization," reported "Mediazona"**. He will spend the first three years in prison, and the remaining term in a high-security colony.

On May 25, 2024, Troitsky was detained at the Zhukovsky airport near Moscow, from where he was supposed to fly to Tbilisi for the weekend. The investigation claims that from Tbilisi, the young man was supposed to go to Ukraine to join the ranks of the RDK. Troitsky himself did not plead guilty, noting that he does not deny his anti-war views, but he did not intend to fight against Russia.

The defendant's defense claimed that the phone did not belong to Troitsky, and the security forces "shoved it into Troitsky's hands during the arrest." In addition, his father reported that other "physical evidence," such as the Ukrainian flag, was also planted on his son.

After the arrest, Troitsky was subjected to 40 days of "carousel" arrests. The lawyers pointed out to the court that during this time all recordings from the entrance cameras, which could have shown who entered their client's apartment, were erased.
