Rosfinmonitoring added journalist Ksenia Luchenko, Yabloko deputy chairman Maxim Kruglov, and Russian cuisine historian Pavel Syutkin to the list of 'extremists and terrorists'.
At the end of September, a criminal case was initiated against Ksenia Luchenko for spreading 'fakes' about the Russian army.
Maxim Kruglov has been in a detention center since October 2 on charges of 'fakes' about the army. On October 9, Pavel Syutkin was also sent to a detention center on similar charges.
In 2024, 3,152 people were added to the list of 'terrorists and extremists' maintained by Rosfinmonitoring. By the end of last year, the registry contained over 16,000 people. This year's number will be higher.
In September, the agency added 46 minors to the registry of 'terrorists and extremists', with the youngest being Yuri Zabrullin from Chelyabinsk, who turned 14 in May.
