The agency announced its readiness to cease hostilities in Donbas for 5-6 hours

The Russian Ministry of Defense is ready to cease hostilities for 5-6 hours in the areas of Pokrovsk, Dmitrov, and Kupyansk to ensure safe visits to these territories for foreign journalists, including Ukrainian ones.

"The Russian command is ready, if necessary, to cease hostilities for 5-6 hours in these areas and also to provide corridors for the unhindered entry and exit of groups of foreign media representatives, including Ukrainian ones, provided there are safety guarantees for both journalists and Russian military personnel," the Russian Ministry of Defense stated.

Putin proposed stopping hostilities in Donbas to allow foreign media into the "encirclement zone" of the Ukrainian Armed Forces the day before.

Meanwhile, the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Oleksandr Syrskyi, claims that Russian troops are trying to accumulate and establish themselves in the urban areas of Pokrovsk, while there is no "blocking" of the city. "The situation is difficult, but the statements of Russian propaganda about the alleged 'blocking' of the Ukrainian Defense Forces in Pokrovsk, as well as in Kupyansk, do not correspond to reality. At the same time, in Pokrovsk, enemy infantry, avoiding clashes, is accumulating in urban areas, changing locations, so the primary task is to identify and destroy them," he wrote on Telegram.
