On July 1, the FSB department for the Komi Republic initiated a treason case against the founder of the «Revolt Center» Pavel Andreev*. He is accused of «decolonial activities» in the interests of Denmark and working in the organization «Platform of Civil, Anti-War and Humanitarian Initiatives», which cooperates with European authorities and, in particular, works on creating a «society of deserters in Armenia».
However, as «Caution, News» found out, the case materials refer to another person — 33-year-old Pavel Vadimovich Andreev, a former PR specialist from Ulyanovsk and «night mayor», who was involved in organizing the city's cultural life at night. After the start of Russia's war against Ukraine, this Andreev moved to Germany. It is he who cooperates with the «Platform of Civil, Anti-War and Humanitarian Initiatives».
Despite the fact that the mistake in the suspects was discovered, the investigation decided not to terminate the criminal case against the founder of the «Revolt Center», claiming that his involvement in treason is «confirmed by all the evidence collected in the case».
