23-year-old native of Chechnya Aishat Baymuradova, whose body was found in Yerevan, was strangled, reported to the «Agency»* by the founder of the human rights project «Caucasus without mothers» Lidia Mikhaylichenko, who was in contact with the deceased.

According to her, the murder occurred on the night of October 15 to 16, and two people who may be involved were caught on the surveillance camera near the house. Mikhaylichenko added that both individuals from the footage left for Russia after the incident.

Aishat Baymuradova left Chechnya with the help of a human rights organization and was living in Yerevan, she had not been in touch since October 15

Activist Daniil Chebykin reported that the girl did not return from a walk on the evening of October 15 and stopped answering calls. Before that, she told her roommates that she was going to meet a friend she met on Instagram. Later, people from the entourage of the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, were found among the followers of Baymuradova's new acquaintance. Friends did not rule out that the girl could have been kidnapped and contacted the police.
