Security forces reported the detention in Pervouralsk, Sverdlovsk region, of a local resident who, "on the instructions of Ukrainian intelligence services," intended to send bombs disguised as perfume sets to participants of the "SVO" and state officials by mail, writes TASS citing the intelligence service.
According to the FSB, the bombs were intended for recipients in Moscow, Voronezh, as well as in the Krasnodar region and Saratov region. The parcels, decorated with St. George ribbons, were discovered at Chelyabinsk airport, and the bombs were supposed to detonate upon opening the package, the press service of the department reported.
As claimed by the security forces, during interrogation, the detainee reported that Ukrainian intelligence services promised him six thousand dollars but never paid.
