After Ramzan Kadyrov accused Senator Suleiman Kerimov and State Duma deputies Bekhan Barakhoev and Rizvan Kurbanov of ordering his murder due to a conflict around the company Wildberries during a meeting with Chechen security forces on Thursday, and then declared a blood feud against them, it not only shook the North Caucasus but also Moscow.
On Friday evening, State Duma deputy Rizvan Kurbanov hurried to announce his non-involvement in the assassination attempt on the head of Chechnya. “I have never participated in preparing an assassination attempt on the life of the respected Kadyrov Ramzan Akhmatovich. And God is my witness,” said the deputy, adding that he always respected the father of the head of Chechnya, Akhmat Kadyrov.
According to Kurbanov's opinion expressed in the address, Ramzan Kadyrov has done much for the restoration of Chechnya and peace in the Caucasus. Kurbanov is convinced that justice will prevail, and the “scoundrels who sow discord” will face deserved punishment.
The next day, the head of Dagestan, Sergey Melikov, entered the fray, expressing support for Senator Kerimov and listing his merits. Speaking at the official opening of Suleiman Kerimov Park in Makhachkala, the head of the region thanked the senator for the park and other “good deeds.”
“All the deeds of Suleiman Abusaidovich Kerimov come from a pure heart. This includes helping the families of SVO participants, supporting the desire to visit holy places, restoring the temple in Derbent after it was destroyed by terrorists, and building medical centers for sick children,” Melikov is confident, guaranteeing Kerimov the “support of the republic,” because “in unity is our strength.”
As the channel “Caution, News” notes, Dagestan residents began to express support for Senator Kerimov after Kadyrov declared a blood feud against him. Dagestan public pages promoted the TG channel “For Our Suleiman!” created in support of the senator. Later, video messages supporting Kerimov began to appear there: they were recorded by local officials, airport staff, sports clubs, and others.
On Saturday, Wildberries founder Tatyana Kim also released a video, accusing her ex-husband Vladislav Bakalchuk of stealing 37 billion rubles and destabilizing the business. She claimed that her ex-husband was involved in organizing hacker attacks, attacks on construction warehouses, and threats to employees.
“I don't know what's happening with Vladislav. It feels like he has simply lost his sense of reality. Endless threats to our employees, organizing hacker attacks, attacks on construction warehouses, an endless stream of complaints and accusations,” said Kim. According to her, it was Bakalchuk's actions that caused last year's strikes, and his team put the business at risk, froze construction, and robbed WB of 37 billion.
